How Do You Know It’s Time
Is there a perfect time?
Sadly, no. Families often struggle with knowing when it’s “time.” There are many resources, listed here, to give some guidance. Additionally, I offer quality-of-life consultations.
Some of the aspects of your pet’s life that you might want to evaluate are below:
• Pain level
• Mobility
• Appetite
• Breathing comfort
• Enjoyment of daily life
• Anxiety or restlessness
There is no pressure — only guidance and support.
A helpful but simple question I often ask families is, “Does your pet seem tired?” If yes, the time to start planning may be in your future.
